From their Excellencies:
His Excellency called us from the road! Sounds like the profit from Coronation will be good. Their Excellencies are proud of us! Their Excellencies plan on attending Gem Joust but will not be at Victory on the Vine.
Updates from the Seneschal:
Not a lot to report this month. There will be a Seneschal training on Thursday, May 28th from 6-8:30 pm. This will be a virtual class. Lady Jenefyr will be posting info for these classes on our Facebook group. If you are interested, please reach out to our Seneschal.
Our Barony is looking for a new Seneschal. Lady Jenefyr’s warrant will expire 🙂
Officer Reports
Exchequer: We have received funds from PayPal and Scores. We have several outstanding checks.
From Coronation: We are waiting on receipts for the food that was provided. We are projected to bring in about $1000 for our Kingdom and $1000 the Barony.
Knights Marshall: No report. Not present.
Minister of the list:
Lord Perry will be assisting Mistress Antoinette at Gem Joust as an MoL for both Saturday and Sunday. For those considering Kings Assessment in Black Diamond-it is a full royal progress event and I will be serving as Royal Liaison so come support your sister baronies! Also Lord Perry will be MoL IC at Victory on the Vine in Ponte Alto June which has pre registration open on SCORES.
MOAS:
Our next in-person class will be making cup covers with Lady Rita on May 21st.
Our next Zoom class will be on Hennins with Lady Arielle on June 4th.

WebMinister: Master Richard, Mistress Genefe, and Lord Gaius have not received our warrants. We have been waiting for nearly two months. This is not an issue confined to our Barony.

Old Business:
Event Bid for Holiday Faire
Lord Edward has resubmitted his bid for $900 less by negotiating with the site and limiting the cost of site tokens. Everything else – including the cost to members – has remained the same. Lunch will be pre-registered only. Based on the new estimates, our break-even will still be 250 people. Based on the expected attendance of 385, that would bring in a profit of $2963.00. If 400 people attend, the profit will be over $3000.00
The new budget was voted on by the populace. The motion passed with a vote of 8 in favor and none opposed.
New Business:
From Sir Ragnarr – SOAP will be back at Mor’s Compound on Wednesday nights!
Baronial Equestrian practice will be at James Long Park in Haymarket this Sunday at 10 AM. No horse required!
