Greetings Medieval Readers,

This week we gratefully pass the pen to Lady Rita Die Perle Von Der Wetterau. Lady Rita joined our Barony just a few years ago and has been faithfully serving the Arts & Sciences community here in the BEST Barony of Stierbach ever since. She has held numerous competitions and displays AND works hard with our Minister of Arts and Sciences to make sure we have classes or meetings all year long.

Thank YOU for your efforts Lady Rita. Take it away!

“My Lords and Ladies,

We had a great year 2024 for The Barony of Stierbach A&S on zoom and in person.

I would like to thank everyone that participated in taking the classes and the ones that taught weaving, hand sewing, scroll covers, painting parasols, illumination scrolls, woodburning, Burgundian dress making, and so many other classes. One of the highlights was the making of goat cheese on zoom, where we invited Lady Vincetta De of Greyhold, from the Kingdom of the Outlands. We closed the year with a wonderful potluck which was one of the only times we wore our garb!

I am looking forward to this year. I have already posted a calendar of potential classes for 2025. I greatly appreciate any input for potential activities!
