Populace Questions and Notes
Masked Ball update on Feb. 15th? Lady Aygül bint Umur Bey al-Aydin is hoping to submit a budget next month. She is also looking for someone to run games at this event.
The coolers have been purchased by Their Excellencies. Three marine style camping coolers will now be a part of our Pennsic camp.
Officer Reports:
Seneschal: Unusually quiet.
QuarterMaster: Nothing new to report. Storage locker inventory is in process. A date will be announced once it is determined (probably post-Pennisc).
Exchequers: A quiet month – no payments or payouts this month. A deposit check for Holiday Faire was requested. There have also been some issues with our old email address for the Exchequer but Thomas saved the day with contact info for a follow-up.
Chatelaine: Quarterly report has already been filed. Two potential newcomers are in the pipeline and no additional demos on the horizon.
Knights Marshall: Nothing new to report. Please stay hydrated – it’s hot!
Minister of the list: Not in attendance.
MOAS: Lady Arielle de Pontoise reported that the quarterly A&S report will be completed soon. In the month of June we hosted an online class on calligraphy with her Excellency Stierbach. We also hosted an illumination class taught by Baroness Rígnach of Argyll. Our next gatherings will be a Pennsic Prep online discussion and a parasol painting class next Thursday taught by Lady Runa.
A&S at Stierbach Birthday will be a scroll display (Bring your fav and show it off). We will also be hosting a competition of items or performances inspired by the nine muses.
New Herald to be: Warrant has been submitted! Lady Katherine is already making connections.
Chronicler: The blog that will serve as our newsletter is up and running. It will be updated by the next business meeting. Please send content to Baroness Genefe Wölfelin (mpruitt085[at]gmail.com)
WebMinister: We have a blog for our newsletter. It will be updated by the next business meeting.
Event Updates:
Baronial Birthday –
Most of the staff is in place. We are still looking for someone to run Troll. The SCORES form will be submitted after the meeting. Our event theme is Inspiration of the Nine Muses. Updates and more details will be coming to the website soon.
Holiday Faire –
SCORES should be going up soon. We are finalizing staff and looking for more volunteers. More details to come next month.
Closing Remarks from their Excellencies
Thank you so much to our officers and event stewards for the work you do 🙂
We are the BEST BARONY now and forever!
