It is with great sorrow that we report the passing of Countess Rowan Berran McDowell, one time Queen of Atlantia and the first Baroness Stierbach. Her Excellency was also a member of the Order of the Laurel and a member of the Great Dark Horde.
I first met Countess Rowan over a decade ago. She picked me out of a crowd to compliment my garb. I did not know her and she did not know me, but she chose to share a few kind words with me that day and many more days after that. Since her passing on December 8th, many other good gentles have shared similar stories describing her words of encouragement and mischievous spirit.
Your dear chronicler has heard no details yet of a funeral, but a memorial gathering is currently being planned for May 2026.
